What should I avoid after my Brow wax, Lamination or Tint?

24-48 hours after your service you should avoid:

  • Get your Brows wet or expose them to steam, moisture or sweat.

  • Sleep directly on your face. 

  • Apply makeup to your freshly waxed skin or brow hair.

  • Expose your brows to heat or a tanning bed. 

  • Directly apply any kind of brow serum or product to your brow hair that contains oil. 

  • Protect freshly waxed skin from sun​

You should not get a brow wax, brow tint or brow lamination if any of these apply to you:

 Contraindications and Special Care ​

  • ​Psoriasis/Eczema; Recent eye surgery

  • Alopecia affecting the brow area

  • Recent permanent make up (must be healed by 6 weeks); Current sunburn

  • Ultra-sensitive skin

  • Blood thinners

  • Pink eye

  • Trichotillomania ( Classified as an impulse control disorder )

  • Any disease/disorder that causes shaking twitching or erratic movements.

Contraindications and Special Care that Require a Doctor’s Referral

  • Pregnant & Breast-Feeding (recommend waiting 72 hours after service to resume nursing)

  • Post Chemotherapy

  • Vitamins/Hormones

During a Brow Wax appointment, the esthetician will take a look at the eye shape, face shape, and current brow hairs, all while taking the client's wishes into account to create the perfect brow shape!

**we offer brow tweezing for clients who have highly sensitive skin, consume medications that don't allow waxing or have a medical condition that restricts waxing.

What is a Brow Lamination?

Brow lamination is a safe chemical process which restructures the brow hairs to keep them in the desired place. It is the go to treatment to create shape, volume and fullness whist giving a sleek well-kept brow shape. Brow lamination can last up to 8 weeks.

Brow Tint 

What is brow tint?

Brow tinting is the process in which the Brow hairs are dyed with tint that is safe for the face and skin! We have a variety of colors and combinations we can mix to tint the brows.  Brow tint lasts up to 4 weeks.
