You should not get a lash lifts, lash tints, or lash extension removal if any of these apply to you:

 Contraindications and Special Care â€‹

  • If your client has an allergic reaction to the patch test.  

  • Cataract (a clouding of the natural lens in one or both eyes leading to decreased vision)

  • Cysts ( A dust is a lump of the upper or lower eyelid caused by obstruction and inflammation of an oil gland of the eyelid. )

  • Diabetic Retinopathy ( a medical condition in which damage occurs to the retina due to diabetes) 

  • Glaucoma 

  • Herpes Simplex 

  • Blepharitis ( An ocular condition characterized by chronic inflammation of the eyelid )

  • Hordeola/Stye/Styes ( A small collection of puss/abscess on the eyelid )

  • Skin Disease, Skin Trauma, Cuts, Abrasions, Burns, and Swelling in the immediate area.

  • Skin Disorders in the general eye area. ( Dermatitis, Xanthelasma, Syringoma )

  • Eye Infections ( Impetigo, Conjunctivitis )

  • Eye Inflammation ( Uveitis )

  • Recent surgeries around the eyes, head, or face.

  • Scar Tissue

  • Watery Eyes

  • Hypersensitive Skin/Eyes

  • Keratitis ( Inflammation of the cornea of the eye )

  • Cancer or those undergoing Chemotherapy 

  • Alopecia ( Loss of hair )

  • Trichotillomania ( Classified as an impulse control disorder )

  • Bells Palsy or any condition that makes closing or opening the eye(s) difficult.

  • Any disease/disorder that causes shaking twitching or erratic movements.

Contraindications and Special Care that Require a Doctor’s Referral

  • Pregnant & Breast-Feeding (recommend waiting 72 hours after service to resume nursing)
  • Recent Lasik Surgery 

  • Dry Eye Syndrome

  • Glaucoma

  • Post Chemotherapy

  • Vitamins/Hormones

What is a Lash Lift?

Lash Lifting is a perm that is applied to your eyelashes that curls and holds your lashes for 6-8 weeks.  For some,  they prefer Lash Lifting over other options so they stop using mascara. For others, they prefer it because it shortens their makeup routine by taking away the need to curl their lashes. Lash Lifting is a low-maintenance service to get with minimal aftercare!

What is a Lash Tint?

Lash tinting is the process in which the lash hairs are dyed with tint that is safe for the eyes and skin! We have a variety of colors and combinations we can mix to tint the lashes. Lash tint lasts up to 4 weeks.

Most people prefer to get a Lift & Tint together, however you can only tint or only lift your lashes!

What should I avoid after my Lash Lift or Tint?

24-48 hours after your service you should avoid:

  • Get your lashes wet or expose them to steam, moisture or sweat.

  • Sleep directly on your face. 

  • Apply makeup to your lashes. 

  • Expose your lashes to heat or a tanning bed. 

  • Directly apply any kind of lash serum or product to your lash line that contains oil.
